Crossing Waves is an installation that reveals the relashionship between sound waves and visual patterns proposing an immersive experience in a vibrating continium. A programmed software was especially created which generates low sinusoidal frequencies and modulates them in a random way, slipping from one state to another. From a nearly static state to a sonic tornado, the waves overlap and bend, amplify or cancel one another resulting to a warped temporality in
which we are invited to slip inside.

A microscope captures live the vibrations of the water and enlightens the influence of sound on our metabolism.
