XIPE TOTEC is an inter media installation inspired by cut up techniques. I t questions the production of meaning by proposing an open audio visuel installation. A programmed software (Pure Data) cuts, rearranges and spits out endlessly an extract of a sound work ofWilliams Burroughs producing a sound flux infinitely transforming itself. The Image is produced with a game of diffracted lights, a lazer goes through a drop of water creating a microscopique projector that reveals the dialogue and interactions between the sound/vibrations and the water drop.
